Pensions Conference — Merchant Taylors Hall
London Event Productions was enlisted to manage technical production for a high-end annual conference, hosted at Merchant Taylors Hall. This impressive venue, situated in the heart of the city of London was the perfect choice for our client to host their delegates.

The brief was to create a modern, novel concept that would contrast the venues wonderfully traditional decor. A bespoke, dual aperture set was designed. This look inspiration from a 1990 Nintendo gaming controller (SNES) and was lit in the client colours with a combination of LED batons with baffling and uplighters. A simple black stage with curved edges and hard fascia extended the venues raised-platform and supported our beautiful lectern and swan chairs for speech and panel discussions.

A wifi installation helped to manage 200 tablets. These provided event data and real-time voting.

Two additional rooms were set up to accommodate breakout session. LEP provided a 4 speaker pa in white to amplify lapel and handheld microphones. A 75” screen with playback laptop was also supplied to each room.
